Kenneth Sweeney is a singer, actor and dancer based in NYC. He is currently in his junior year at the Manhattan School of Music, where he is pursuing his B.M. in Musical Theatre.

Most recently, Kenneth starred as Fredrik Egerman in A Little Night Music at the Manhattan School of Music, where he had the privilege of performing at the Neidorff-Karpati Concert Hall. Working with director Eugenio Contenti to marry naturalistic acting and the classic farce style was uniquely challenging, engaging and rewarding. Kenneth loved singing Sondheim’s score alongside Jonathan Tunick’s luscious arrangements, which were played beautifully by a full orchestra conducted by David Loud. The show was a gem and he hopes to revisit the role when the time is right!

Originally from Los Angeles, Kenneth attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a dance major, completing 10 years of ballet and concert dance training before entering the musical theatre world. He loves bringing characters such as Jasper from The Mystery of Edwin Drood and the Wolf from Into the Woods to life with his unique physicality and athletic prowess.
